Weather mini for Apple Watch

About "No Data Available", please try the following steps:

  • Ensure your watch has internet access. Temporarily disable Bluetooth and put it in Airplane mode, then connect it to an active WiFi. If it’s a cellular version, use the cellular network without WiFi.
  • Check location permission from your paired iPhone in Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Weather mini.
  • Check network permission from the Watch app on your iPhone in Watch > Cellular > Weather mini.
  • Restart Weather mini on your watch by swiping and deleting the app in multitasking mode.

Q: Just downloaded the app, but it just shows 'locating...'

A: If you’re on watchOS 7, check your watch’s internet connection. Then, press the side button in multitasking mode to kill the app. Sometimes, slow or failed location detection can cause the app to freeze until you restart it.


Q: What is a watch-only app?

A: A watch-only app (independent watchOS app) has no iOS companion app. You can buy it directly from the App Store on the watch. After a successful purchase, a download will start on the watch automatically.


Q: Can't reload data after watchOS upgraded?

A: Try adjusting the location permission again from your phone (Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Weather mini) and relaunch the app on the watch. Sometimes, the watch won’t pop up the permission dialog again.


Q: Can't download the app on the watch app store?

A: The watch app store shares your phone account, so sign in on your phone first. When downloading apps on the watch, you may be asked to input your passcode, so keep your phone close, even on the latest Series 5 watch. Long passwords are hard to input.


Q: Purchased the app on the phone, it didn't appear on the home screen of the phone?

A: Weather mini can be downloaded from the app store on your phone, but it won’t appear on the home screen. After the purchase, check the purchased apps on your watch: Watch App Store > Account > Purchased. You can download Weather mini on your phone here.


Q: Purchased the app on the phone, can't download it on the watch?

A: Double-check the purchase on your phone before checking your watchOS version. Weather mini requires watchOS 6.0.


Q: The temperature is inaccurate

A: Weather mini supports both Celsius and Fahrenheit. Check the settings panel; it might be because of the different temperature units.

Q: Can't detect location when WLAN is turned off?

A: macOS currently requires a WiFi network to detect users’ location.
